Screening Process

Consists of:
 - Application
 - Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
 - Verification of income and credit check
 - Background check, including sex offender registry
 - Landlord reference
 - Employment must be minimum of one year on the job or no lapse time between last and 
   current job
 

Signing up for apartment:
 - Terms or annual (12 month leases)
 - Terms are monthly on some furnished units (minimum of 60 day stay)
 - No pet policy (strictly enforced)
 - Assigned parking or parking restrictions
 - Full security deposit must be placed at time of lease
 - Application fee must be paid at time of application
 - Applicant must be able to have their public utilities on in tenant's name
 - We do not take co-signers or guarantors
 - No subleasing
 - No room mating to save money - unless couple is committed, both persons must apply individually
 - Combined incomes can be considered unless one applicant is under 18
 - Applicant must agree to sign "guidelines" form, which sets down specific and important rules
   for the tenant's behavior
 - All tenants must secure an occupancy permits from the appropriate agency at tenant's expenses
 - Personal checks are accepted; no credit card payments, debit card payments, second or third
   party checks, or payroll checks will be accepted
